Xbox 360 Gets Amazon Instant and New Racing Bundle

The Xbox 360 is a game console but it’s clear that Microsoft wants to turn into a one stop shop for all your entertainment needs. The partnerships with cable providers, movie, and internet services have transformed the console into something more than just a game console.

Today, Microsoft announced their partnership with Amazon. This will offer Amazon Instant Video to the many other apps available on the dashboard. The app will allow you to access over 17,000 videos on the Amazon service. The only catch is that you have to be an Amazon Prime member but a free one month trial is available for those that want to try it out. An Xbox LIVE gold membership is also required, but you have one of those? Don’t you?

In other news, Microsoft also announced a new Xbox 360 bundle. It is a 250GB slim model bundled with a wireless racing wheel and a copy of Forza Motorsport 4.
