World Of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria to Launch September 25th
The latest expansion in Blizzard’s World of Warcraft MMO series titled World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria, now has a release date of September 25th 2012. The fourth expansion since the games release in 2004, the game adds the lost continent of Pandaria to the game, as well as playable Pandarens (Kung-Fu Pandas), a new monk class, and much more.
For both a digital or phyiscal copy of the game, it will cost you $39.99, though you can pay more for more bonus-packed goodies as well. For a Deluxe version of the game, it will cost you $59.99 online and the grand daddy of em all, a physical Collector’s Edition release costs a whopping $79.99. Players who purchase the basic version (digital or physical, doesn’t matter) will also have the option of spending an extra $20 to get the Digital Deluxe bonuses.
So what do you get with the Deluxe version? Well for starters, it includes an Imperial Quilen flying mount and a Lucky Quilen Cub pet as in-game items along with StarCraft 2 portraits for Battle.net, as well as a Pandaria-related banner sigil and accent for Diablo 3. As for the physical Collector’s Edition, it includes all of the digital bonuses, plus a behind-the-scenes DVD/Blu-ray, a soundtrack CD, an 208-page art book, and a mouse pad featuring the legendary Pandaren brewmaster, Chen Stormstout.
Pre-orders for both the standard and Digital Deluxe editions of Pandaria are available now at WorldofWarcraft.com. The new content will be digitally delivered to all pre-purchasers in advance of the expansion’s release, unlocking the moment the release becomes official.
