Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Console Release Date Revealed

Console players who have been craving some Witcher action will finally get their chance this year on April 17 of this year. Featuring new control schemes, a few hours worth of extra content and all kinds of other goodies, players looking for a deep RPG with the level of skill required for a game such as Dark Souls should keep this one on their radar. The game will ship on 2 discs along with a third disc including the in-game soundtrack.

A Dark Edition, retailing at $80 is also being released which includes everything the Enhanced (Standard) edition does, plus a making of DVD, decals, metal Witcher’s head medallion, and an art book. The Enhanced Edition will also be released on the PC on April 17th.
