We might be seeing something Alan Wake-related at E3

Wait...E3 is happening now too!

When Alan Wake’s American Nightmare (which I enjoyed) was released, it was shortly followed by a new single from the in-universe rock band Old Gods of Asgard: Balance Slays the Demon. Around 3 and a half minutes into the song, a bit of backwards English is played. When reversed, it says ”It will happen again, in another town. A town….called Ordinary.” It seemed pretty obvious that fans were being teased with the next location to be featured in the Alan Wake series.

So it should come as no surprise that everyone was probably right, if this tweet from Remedy writer Sam Lake is any indication. In the tweet, he basically repeats the line from the song and links to a suspicious blogspot account. Shoebox dream? Brightly lit room housing a man with elbow patches on his jacket? Sounds pretty familiar if you ask me. Personally, I can’t wait for more Alan Wake. Bring on E3!
