The Walking Dead is a very popular franchise. It spans comic books, TV shows, and now games. The Walking Dead video game by TellTale Games broke out of the gate with some stellar reviews, but we’ve been waiting for episode 2 a while now.
The great thing about TellTale games now is that they are dividing these games up into episodes. These episodes will have a low price, like $5, and will end up costing $25 when all of the content is out there. It’s a good idea because if you don’t like the first episode, you’re only out $5.
It looks like we’ll be getting to play episode 2 finally as it’s set to release June 27th. The branching narrative spans from the first episode to the last one, taking in account the choices you have made in each episode. You can continue your journey for $4.99/400 MS points on XBLA, PSN, and PC.
*UPDATE* Episode 2 is out now on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The PSN and PC versions will come out on the 29th. Here is the launch trailer:
