Ubisoft Announces Avengers Game Heading To Wii U
- “Earth’s mightiest heroes.”
Well, the film was a success, but does that automatically determine the success of it as a video-game, Ubisoft? Yes, once again, another movie-to-video-game spin-off is in the works once again, and this it’s Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth, heading straight for the Wii U. The game will be hitting the console ready-to-play later this year, according to Ubisoft’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tony Key.
The idea that we’re making a motion-control version of ‘The Avengers’ is a unique proposition if you compare that to superhero games of the past. This is the perfect type of game for that because these characters are very action oriented. They’re always fighting and throwing things.
Motion-controlled, he says? I’m probably one of the many who are slightly curious as to how this will work out for Ubisoft. Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth will also be coming to the Xbox Kinect and is currently undergoing development at Ubisoft’s Quebec studio.
