Three out of Five Guild-01 Games Coming to the US

Published On October 13, 2012 | By John Michonski | News, Nintendo 3DS

Guild-05 was a game collection for the 3DS that nobody expected to come stateside, and for good reason. The game was a mish-mash of quirky developers making quirky games, and normally quirky isn’t popular in America. Thankfully, Level-5, who put the collection out in Japan, decided to stick the games onto Nintendo’s US eShop.

We don’t get the full package, as comedian Yoshiyuki Hirai’s item shop RPG was shafted from our release probably due to copyright problems (but if you want a great game just like it, get Recettear on Steam), but the other three games will be available to download as separate games in the near future. The games include Suda 51′s Liberation Girl, Yoot Saito’s Air Porter, and Yasumi Matsuno’s Crimson Shroud. It is unknown when the games will be released and for how much, but there is a small trailer on Level-5′s site for the trio.
