The Minds of Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright Clash In A New Game!

Two of gaming’s greatest minds join together in a Capcom/Level-5 crossover game that pits their intelligence and detective skills against each other. Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney takes the archaeologist Professor Layton and defense attorney Phoenix Wright and puts them in a world called “Labyrinth City.” With a name like that, it is not surprising that these two men will be solving puzzles left and right. All that is known about the main storyline is that both Professor Layton with Luke and Phoenix Wright with Maya will be investigating a witch trial, where a young girl has been accused and is sentenced to be burnt to death at the stake.

I couldn’t be more stoked for this game. Being a major fan of Ace Attorney, it will be fun and interesting to see Phoenix Wright pitted up against someone of a different world to see how he reacts. What makes me even more excited are the screenshots that were released for the game. Check them out below!

Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney is set to be released in Japan November 29th for the Nintendo 3DS. There is no word on a western release just yet, so stay tuned onto Velocity Gamer for updates! In the meantime, enjoy the subbed trailer from the Tokyo Game Show below.
