E3 2012: The Last of Us Gameplay Footage Shows Off Beautiful Environments

The Last of Us came on near the end of Sony’s presentation, giving us a vaguely surreal glimpse into the post-apocalyptic world the two main characters live in. Cleverly aping the CG trailers we’ve seen so far, our two intrepid explorers poked through a hotel before encountering another group of survivors- who they promptly began murdering!
What started as a stealth moment quickly transformed into a desperate gun battle with very limited ammo. We also had a peek at the crafting system, which looked simple and straightforward.
