The Last Guardian Is Still In Production, Confirms Sony

Fans of the ICO and Shadow of the Colossus games were stoked to see that another installment of the series, The Last Guardian, was in production. But perhaps the developers at Sony announced this project a bit too early, for it has been four years since its announcement at E3 2009 and they are still in production. There was talk in previous months about the game potentially not getting made (due to a change in name and many people leaving Sony), but Sony reassured its fans that The Last Guardian is coming. Even though the game was not featured at the Tokyo Game Show, a developer told gaming website Kotaku “I give you my word that it exists…we are working on it.” Here’s hoping this continues to be the case.
