PS3

Sony finally announced the long rumored PS3 slim remodel. It will be available in 2 different models, a 250GB and a 500GB version. These new models are 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the already available slim model.

The 250GB model will be available Sept. 25th for $269.99 as a limited edition bundle that will include Uncharted 3: GOTY edition and a $30 voucher for digital content in Dust 514. The second 500GB PS3 will be released on Oct. 30th and will run you $299.99. Europe is getting the once rumored 12GB flash memory system and Japan gets the choice of a white system.

PS Vita

PlayStation Plus will finally be coming to the Vita in November at no extra cost to members. What exact games and discounts you’ll get have not been announced yet but you will get cloud storage, automatic updates, and auto trophy syncing. I’ve been a PS+ member since day one and also being a Vita owner I can’t wait to see what we get.

The lucky folks over in Japan will also get the choice of  a red or blue version of the Vita. We will get a white version though, bundled with AC: Liberation, which was announced before.

Keep checking in for more news as we get it posted.

I use to play on the 360 moved over to the PS3 and have never looked back. I recently got into PC gaming and love me some indie games. Now I'm trying my hand at video game journalism and time travel.
