Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Pushed Back into October Along With a Price Drop

Originally scheduled to release on August 24th, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has now been delayed until October 9th. City Interactive gave no reason for the delay, but now the game is in the midst of the prime time for game buying this year as its release date places it right in between Resident Evil 6 and Dishonored. The original game sold over 2 million copies despite poor critical acclaim. Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 will be running on CryEngine 3 this time around, and I’m not so sure about the price, but Amazon is currently offering pre-orders for the game at $40.00. Not sure if that was always the planned price for the game, but you can check it out here.
