Rock Band Blitz was announced already but there’s still more news to share since the game hasn’t come out yet. The guys at Harmonix have been hard at work bringing the Rock Band experience to Xbox LIVE and PSN this summer.Similar to Frequency and Amplitude, previous Harmonix titles, Blitz aims to add some flair to the formula. Switching between tracks and gaining power-ups to increase your overall score is the name of the game while rocking out to your favorite song with a regular controller.
No peripherals are required and you can even access your entire Rock Band library in the game. Included with the game are 20+ songs and we now know of 11 more tracks, bringing the total to 15.

- “One Week” – Barenaked Ladies
- “Always” – Blink-182
- “Shine” – Collective Soul
- “I’m Still Standing” – Elton John
