Resident Evil 6 to feature six player co op

According to Xbox.com’s product page for Resident Evil 6, the game will feature 6 player online co op play when it releases on 20th November for Xbox and PS3. Its not stated what this co op mode will consist of. Some think it could be cooperative campaign play, while some think the game will take a road similar to Gears Of War’s horde mode. According to the listing, the game will also feature up to 8 player multiplayer which suggests the game may have competitive modes as well as cooperative.

Announced earlier this week, Resident Evil 6 will take place 10 years after the events of Resident Evil 2 and will see players take on the roles of characters new and old to halt bioterrorist attacks across the globe. Resident Evil 6 hits Xbox and PS3 consoles on 20th November, with a PC version following at a later date
