PS3 ELITE Season of Content Starts, Next Drops Detailed [UPDATED]

PS3 Modern Warfare 3 players rejoice! It’s your turn to start playing the content you paid for with your Call of Duty ELITE subscription.  The $50 subscription promised monthly drops for nine consecutive months but was delayed due to Xbox exclusivity. Today, PS3 premium members finally got their hands on the first two drops, Liberation and Piazza. Infinity Ward Creative Strategist Robert Bowling has stated that March would see the collection of all DLC, including March’s drops for non-paying members on the Xbox 360 so that can only mean that this pack will also be a month late for PS3 users.

Drop #1: Liberation

Drop #2: Piazza

[UPDATE] To not make another Call of Duty post, a day after this one, I’ll consolidate newly released material in this post.  There are new details on the next drops scheduled for March, or should I say “detail”.  There will be a total of 3 drops hitting Xbox LIVE on March 13th.  These will include ‘Black Box’, a multiplayer map, and two spec ops missions, ‘Black Ice’ and ‘Negotiator’. Not much is known yet about the spec ops missions, besides the image for each on the ELITE calendar, but there is an image for the new multiplayer map,  It looks like you’ll be fighting around the wreckage of a downed Air Force One.

Drop #4: Black Box

Via Robert Bowling’s Twitter account, the collection of all DLC for MW3 so far, including March’s content drops will be available March 20th for Xbox LIVE.  You can expect that the collection will be $15 figuring the precedent for Call of Duty DLC and why you’d be saving $10 on DLC from buying ELITE. $15 isn’t bad for 4 multiplayer maps (Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch, Black Box) and 2 spec ops missions (Black Ice, Negotiator), is it?
