Persona 3 FES coming to PSN

A downloadable version of popular Playstation 2 RPG Persona 3: FES will be arriving on Playstation Network  Tuesday, April 10, according to The Official Playstation Blogcast’s latest episode.

For those of you who haven’t played Persona 3, it’s only one of the most addictive dungeon-crawlers/dating sims/suicide-simulators to ever hit the PS2. Ever.

"Let's make them cast spells by shooting themselves in the head! We're so edgy!"

Part of the Shin Megami Tensei universe, the Persona series tends to center around teenagers who find themselves able to summon powerful beings from within themselves in order to fight some greater threat. What that really means is a lot of dungeon-stomping, and, as of the last two entries in the series, interaction with other characters to further develop your own powers.

Persona 3: FES is technically a director’s cut version of the original game, adding new content and a short continuation of the storyline.

While pricing hasn’t been confirmed, it will likely cost $10 to download, much like other PS2 classics that can be found in the PSN store.
