Official Release Date Confirmed For Gears Of War: Judgement, New Multiplayer Map Revealed
Spectacular news for all you frenzied Gears of War gaming fans: the word is just in that a release date has been announced for the newest installment in the series, Gears of War: Judgement. The game has been confirmed to be releasing on 19th March 2013, heading straight for the Xbox 360. As has been previously known, the game is a prequel of the very first entry into the Gears of War series, and will new in-game capmaigns, weapons, enemies and most excitedly, new multiplayer modes – one of them being the highly anticipated OverRun.
Alongside this announcement, a new map for the game has also been revealed to the feasting eyes of the gaming public, called “Island“, and has been said to take place on an archipelago of inter-connected islands off the coast of Halvo Bay. Its main purpose is serving as a re-fueling and supply depot, and it notably feeds the larger military machine along the coast. The individual islands are joined by a multiplex of tunnels and bridges, making way to a land-network of variable size and shape. Island is apparently revealed to be a restricted territory, and civilians are prohibited to be on, or anywhere near, the area. How intriguing.

I'm so excited for this game. Each successive Gears of War game has been better than the last. I hope Judgement can continue the trend.
