New God of War: Ascension Multiplayer Gameplay Trailer is Brutal

The God of War series has been known for it’s gruesome take downs and brutal combat. That and more has made it’s way to the next God of War game, Ascension. There will be multiplayer this time around but Santa Monica wants you to know that it won’t be dumbed down from what’s offered in the main game.

We first got a look at the multiplayer in Ascension a little bit before E3 2012. There, we got a look at the single player portion of the game which… it looks like God of War. The interesting part about this new game is the multiplayer.

The mode we saw earlier was basically a tug of war match with a titan in the middle of the map. Whichever team overpowered the other would get to take down the titan in a massive bloodbath. Sounds good to me, let’s have a closer look:
