That’s right, DLC is still coming out for Modern Warfare 3 even though its predecessor is right around the corner. I can’t help but think the whole “season of content” thing is going to turn around and bite Activision in the ass if they continue to do it. I just imagine that hardcore fans like myself probably won’t pay for the latest map pack in preparation for Black Ops II in November.
We don’t have any info. yet on how ELITE will work with Black Ops II, or the fact that it’s left out of the collector’s editions of the games. We’ll see soon, I guess, what that all entails. Until then, we still have Modern Warfare 3 and the final Multiplayer map pack to play with:
I own ELITE but I honestly haven’t played much of the new Multiplayer maps. I feel that there are just way too many coming out to keep up with them all. Learning 16 maps and then adding 10+ is a bit tough to keep together.
These maps do look pretty sweet, though, and should give MW3 a proper send-off. The pack is set to hit Xbox LIVE on September 6th, a month later presumably for PC and PS3.

I've played 2 of these maps on the PS3 but the last 3 I'm still waiting to drop. Off Shore and Decommission are both pretty good maps. I'd say probably 2 of the best for MW3. I really haven't been to impressed with the maps on MW3.
I will say though that I actually prestiged for the second time which I have never done in any COD before. I mainly want to play Blops II though.
