Medal of Honor Sequel Revealed

Tease after tease, the sequel to 2010′s Medal of Honor has finally been revealed.  The new game is titled “Medal of Honor: Warfighter” which sounds a bit funky but the cover art more than makes up for the name in my opinion. Official Xbox Magazine got first details on the game in their latest issue.  As you’ve probably already guessed, the sequel will use DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine.  DICE will not be returning as a developer, though.  Danger Close, the EA studio that developed the single player will do both this time around.  That’s great news I think since Medal of Honor’s campaign was the most enjoyable part of that game while multiplayer lacked. Medal of Honor: Warfighter will ship in October, probably two weeks before the next Call of Duty title. It’ll be interesting to see if EA alternates between MoH and Battlefield each year to compete with Activision’s juggernaut.
