Max Payne 3 DLC Announced… Already?
Well, sort of. Rockstar sees it fit to educate Max Payne fans on their future DLC offering for the game a few weeks shy of release. It’s important for gamer’s to know that Max Payne 3 has been finished for awhile now, so the next logical step is to work on DLC. I don’t think someone like Rockstar would intentionally hold back content from a game; I mean, just look at GTA IV.
So here’s the deal, Rockstar passes are back, meaning that you can pay a premium price up front to receive all the DLC free of charge. The pass will be 2400 Microsoft Points, or $30, and it’s available TODAY for pre-order, May 1st. Also in the post on Rockstar’s blog, the first bit of DLC has been revealed and it’s The Local Justice Map Pack coming in June, featuring new, you guessed it, maps.
The Local Justice Map Pack, coming in June, will include the Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes. The pack will also feature two additional maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer, new precinct-themed multiplayer avatar items, multiplayer challenges, and more.
For anyone that’s a fan of the series and plans on picking this up and playing it for awhile, this is a no-brainer. You’re getting all this DLC at a discount, and as long as you don’t mind letting Rockstar hold on to your money, it’s a win/win situation.
