Max Payne 3 Delayed

Originally slated to release in March Rockstar has now announced that Max Payne 3 will be delayed from its March release date to a summer release in May. In a way this isn’t too surprising as most of their most recent offerings have been released in May including Red Dead Redemption and LA Noire. The new official release date is May 15th in the U.S. and 18th in Europe.
The reason for the delay according to Take-Two chairman and CEO Strauss Zelnick is that they wanted to [quote]“ensure that Max Payne 3 delivers the highest quality.”[/quote] Dan Houser says they plan to [quote]“bring powerful storytelling back to the action-shooter genre.”[/quote]
