Mass Effect 3: Freddie Prinze Jr. voices new character
As details about the Mass Effect 3 demo were revealed last night on GT.TV, (which you can read about here) some other interesting news was also announced: the addition of visiting Mars, a new enemy race, and James Vega, a new character voiced by actor Freddie Prinze Jr.
In addition to a mysterious new enemy, Mars is where players will meet up with Liara. The red planet comes under attack as she is studying the Prothean Archive. That’s when Shepard steps in to save the day.
“Maybe there’s something there,” said BioWare lead writer Mac Walters when referring to Mars. “The Protheans came very close to defeating the Reapers…unfortunately the Illusive Man and Cerberus are there ahead of you.”
Little detail was revealed about the mysterious new character James Vega, but with the recognizable voice of Prinze Jr., BioWare adds another famous name to the ME3 list. If they keep this up, the game will start to be more like a movie. With that being said, we are all eagerly awaiting further announcement of the ME movie which is being developed by Sony.
You can play the single and multiplayer ME3 demos starting Feb. 14 until the full game hits store shelves March 6. For now, lets all reminisce at this live action ME3 trailer from E3 2011.
