Mass Effect 3 Firefight Weapons Pack Released

Published On August 7, 2012 | By Matthew Pettit | News, PC, PS3, Xbox 360

There’s been a steady steam of DLC for EA’s Mass Effect 3 but maybe not the kind you’d expect. Its all been Multiplayer DLC so far and its been free because of the fact that things won’t unlock unless you buy “packs” in multiplayer with in-game or real currency.

The ending controversy is over, at least in Bioware’s eyes so now they can focus on the core story. Their first DLC for single player doesn’t do a whole lot on that front because it’s a weapons pack. The Firefight weapons pack gives you two new single player weapons and adds 5 bonus weapons.

The pack is out today, August 7th, on all platforms and will be $2 or 160 MS points. This coupled with the upcoming Leviathan DLC this summer should make ME3 fans happy, or at least happier than they were before.
