Mass Effect 3 Enlists Players in Operation Savage This Weekend

Mass Effect 3 multiplayer was a scary thing when it was announced. Who knew, but it actually turned out to be fun and addicting. The horde-style mode with objectives could keep you busy for hours if you have 3 friends to play with.

I’ve had a bit of a rough patch with ME3 lately. I started off playing it almost exclusively after I finished the main story since I had some buddies to play with. The unlock system got me to keep playing even after I said I was done for the night. But recently, the summer lull of video games has got me playing other games.

The cool thing about the multiplayer has been the events that Bioware and EA put on each weekend. It consists of a challenge to all players as well as a community challenge. Victory and Commendation packs with digital ME3 multiplayer goodies are awarded upon completion of those objectives.

As you can see, a LOT of peolple are still playing Mass Effect Multiplayer

Operation Savage takes the stage this weekend, challenging players to eliminate 7,000,000 trooper level enemies. The squad goal is to extract with a mixed team of races/classes. The event will kick off June 22nd at 6pm PST and end early Monday morning. Read more about it HERE.

Whenever I see a new multiplayer challenge go up, I always say that I need to start playing again. Maybe with this one, I will.
