Let’s make FTL LEGO happen

Published On February 12, 2013 | By Mike Cosimano | Merchandise, News

For those of you unaware of the LEGO collector scene, LEGO CUUSOO is kind of like Kickstarter for building toys. It’s where Minecraft LEGO first originated. Users essentially pitch new set ideas to the community, and their peers vote on what they’d like to see made into an official set. Now I don’t usually care about LEGO, but as a fan of the roguelike space sim FTL, the idea that I could own a physical Kestral model (not to mention all the other cool stuff CUUSOO user CrashSanders has planned) is cool enough to get my attention.

If you want to sign up for CUUSOO – or link a social network account – and help get this project into mass production, please do so. I want to own a LEGO Mantis ship and blow it to smithereens with my Engi Stealth Cruiser. Have I said LEGO enough in this article? LEGO. LEGO LEGO.
