Jagex Will Be At The MCM Expo This Year

If you’re about my age, 21, you’ve probably heard of Jagex. They’re the guys that brought you Runescape, the free-to-play medieval RPG that was hugely popular when I was a kid. I can’t tell you how many hours I put into the free version of the game, but I can say that pretty much everyone at my middle school was playing it at the time.

Jagex will be showing up at the UK’s MCM Expo this year, Britain’s biggest pop culture event of the year. While disclosing more news on Runescape, Jagex will also be diving into news for their new Transformers MMO. Yea, Michael Bay really got devs thinking about Transformers games again, but that’s not a bad thing at all, is it? Transformers Universe will come out at the end of the year. At the event, UK attendees will be able to reserve character names before anyone else; so if you’re wanting a bad ass name that doesn’t have numbers in it, looks like you’re going to London!

With this news, I took a look at Runescape again and I didn’t recognize it. That game has changed so much but I’m slightly more intrigued to jump into it again. Even more so, a Transformer’s MMO sounds good too. Keep your eyes on Velocity Gamer for news from Jagex at the event and Transformers Universe. Oh and get teased below:
