Hardware Sales Figures for 2011

Hardware sells are always competing, so lets take a look at the hardware sales of 2011.
TOTAL = US | EU | JP
3DS – 11.8 Million = 4.1 | 3.5| 4.3
360 – 11.0 Million = 7.3 | 3.7| 0.1
PS3 – 11.0 Million = 4.5 | 4.9 | 1.5
WII – 9.5 Million =4.5 | 4.0 | 0.9
NDS – 7.5 Million =3.8 | 3.0 | 0.7
PSP – 5.8 Million =1.4 | 2.3 | 2.1
Unsurprisingly the 3DS comes out on top, boasting a 4.3 million just in Japan. Inconclusively, the PS3 and Xbox 360 tie meaning fans of each console will continue to banter about which one is better for all eternity, or at least until the 2012 hardware sales are released. The Wii is finally plateauing and the Nintendo DS still sells 7.5 million even though the 3DS had come out. Also the PSP, I guess that’s still around… sort of.
