God of War: Ascension has Multiplayer | First Look Video

We get our first look at the hotly anticipated God of war: Ascension today with not single player footage of Kratos kicking ass and taking names, but multiplayer footage. You’ll get the chance to fight four on four battles where a mythological creature makes the combat a lot more interesting. Just think of it as God of War’s answer to reactive environments in fighting games, except bigger.

In this case, GamesRadar gives us a look at the action in a quick video showcasing one of the maps you’ll rampage through. You play on a team with three others, competing against a team of four while you fight to gain control of a spot on the map to be able to take down a creature, most likely a nuisance, to give you and your team the satisfaction of a brutal finisher. This is only one type of match in the multiplayer package but by looking at the footage and the quality shown, the other modes will be just as good if not better.
