Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Raven Strike DLC Priced and Dated

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier came out back in May but the game is still be supported by developer Ubisoft four months after launch. What was created is, in my opinion, the best Ghost Recon out there so take that as you will, but I think it should be supported just as much as a Call of Duty title.

Arctic Strike was the first DLC released for the game which included multiplayer maps and some new weapons. While the multiplayer is fun, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea and I think Ubisoft recognizes that with their newest batch of DLC. Raven Strike will continue the Future Soldier campaign as well as give you a new map for it’s wave-based survival Guerrilla mode:

Raven Strike includes:

3 new missions in Campaign Mode

  • Secure Dawn: a foggy marsh in Kazakhstan where the Ghosts will not be allowed access to advanced technology (no optical camouflage, drone or sensor grenade).
  • Cold Walker: a train depot on the Russian countryside.
  • Argent Thunder: a night time urban setting in Moscow.

1 new map in Guerrilla Mode

  • Sawmill: face 50 waves of enemies on a foggy Russian countryside

Sounds good but how much is it you ask? It’ll be $14.99 on Xbox LIVE and PSN and will release on September 11th. More DLC is coming, says the development team, so what’s available now won’t be all you’ll get.
