Get Welcomed Back to Hell in the DOOM BFG Edition Debut Trailer

In case you were wondering what id Software’s been working on lately, it’s DOOM. The popular FPS shooter from the 90s that was apart of id’s rise to the top of FPS game developers. There’s been only rumors of a DOOM 4 but now that the focus is back on DOOM, we might see it someday.

DOOM BFG Edition includes remastered versions of DOOM 1, 2, 3, with add-ons “Resurrection of Evil” and the “Lost Mission”. Each game has been remastered in “stunning 3D” and will be available for PC, Xbox 360, and PS3.

The BFG Edition will also include support for 3D and head mounted displays.

Sign me up! We should see the DOOM BFG Edition sometime this year. It would be smart to get this out during the summer given the heavy release schedule in the fall for other FPS games.

I’ll be picking this up, no doubt about it. I remember watching my dad play with my uncle over a dial-up connection and it was just the coolest thing.
