Gears of War: Exile Officially Cancelled

Well, I guess we will never really know what Gears of Exile was really about. The rumor that began a year ago was officially put down today by Cliff Bleszinski, telling Gamespot, “let’s just bury the hatchet now. Gears of War: Exile was an unannounced game that I can’t give any details about that has since been cancelled.” Many people had speculated it would be a Gears game focused on the Kinect peripheral, but I always had a small hope Epic would make Exile a prequel to Gears of War so we could witness the Pendulum Wars and Adam Fenix’s back-story.
