Free Viewing for Select Summer MLG Events

Major League Gaming events are both entertaining and educational to me. While I don’t think I could ever play like these guys, it’s fun to watch them tear each other apart. It’s educational in that I might pick up a few things but on the other hand, I don’t execute whatever I “learned” properly so I end up doing worse using that tactic to what I’ve been doing in the first place.

I may try that again this summer since MLG is offering several events for free for those who’d like to watch. Upgrading to HD streaming with no ads is still available if you’d like to purchase it but I say free is free. Here is the list of events courtesy of MLG:

Summer StarCraft II Arena: July 20-22, NYC: Featuring three streams – the Main stream, Premium stream, and Dr Pepper stream.  For the first time, we’re pleased to announce that thanks to Full Sail University, we will be offering the Main StarCraft II Arena stream free in standard definition! Help us thank our partner and recognize their generosity by registering here to learn more about Full Sail. As always, the Dr Pepper stream is also free in standard definition. Check out full broadcast details and more here.

Summer League of Legends Arena: August 3-5, NYC: Featuring three streams – the Main gameplay stream and two Dr Pepper streams. All three streams will be free in standard definition.

Summer Fighter Arena: August 10, NYC: Featuring two streams – the Main gameplay stream and the Dr Pepper stream. Both will be free in standard definition.

Summer Championship: August 24-26, Raleigh, NC: As always, the basic broadcast for each game will be free in standard definition.

Sound good? Mark your calendars and hope to learn a few things from the pros this summer with the help of Major League Gaming, or just sit back and enjoy the show.
