EVO 2012 Going Down This Weekend

Competitive gaming stretches far beyond shooters. It encompasses everything from sports games to fighting games. Anything you can play multiplayer in, you can compete. High scores and even to find out who’s better at the game. That’s why we have things like EVO.

EVO is one of the biggest video game fighting championships around and it’s coming back this year with an even bigger bang that last year. Here is the announcement trailer from about a month ago to get you pumped:

The event is going on in Las Vegas this weekend and will go on until Sunday. Over the course of the tournament, thousands of gamers will compete for the grand prize of $500,000 in these games:
