E3 2012: Wii U To Launch In White, Black Will Be Available Later

Pretty much all through Nintendo’s E3 press conference, we saw the beautiful glossy black Wii U console being showcased through many gameplay demos and trailers. It even raised hopes that we may be seeing two colours launch alongside each other for the general gaming public to lay their quid on – unfortunately, this is not the case, according to a recent report from Destructoid.
Apparently, a booth represantative that was spoken to was reported saying that the Wii U would launch only in white – with the black Wii U to join its companion “soon”. How “soon” this may be is unconfirmable as of now. Let’s just hope it won’t take as long as the Wii did to see itself a black counterpart.
