E3 2012: Dive Deeper Into The World Of Miiverse, Nintendo’s Answer To Online Interaction In Gaming

A new universe, filled with Miis.

When Miiverse was first announced at Nintendo Direct just two days ago, I was absolutely intrigued – Nintendo had given all the pleading gamers what we had asked for, and then some. With Miiverse, you don’t just get to connect accounts with others; you get to connect on a personal level with other Wii U gamers, and that’s why I find it so fascinating. Messages (both typed and handwritten), hand-drawn doodles, emoticons and the like – and now we get even more to view with this trailer released to us just moments ago from Nintendo’s E3 press conference:

Miiverse will be available on the Wii U from day one – as for the 3DS, mobile phones, and PCs, that’ll come later.
