Double Fine Adventure is Full Speed Ahead

Published On February 17, 2012 | By Matthew Pettit | Uncategorized

Remember that fan-funded project that Double Fine Studios started?  If you read the previous post HERE, you know that the DF crew has already far surpassed their projected budget of $400,000.  This is all thanks to KickStarter and every gamer that just wants a good ol’ fashioned adventure game to play. As of now, Double Fine has a staggering $1,937,685 on their KickStarter page. I think its safe to say that the extra money will bode very well for development!

Tim Schafer has released the video below to give a little update to whats going to happen now and to give thanks to their awesome backers.  He outlines a few tidbits of information including what platforms the game will be released on, what languages will be available, and that there will be a DRM-free version.

It’s not too late to contribute! There are 24 days left to donate.  If you’d like to help out, go HERE
