Digital Extremes, developer of the upcoming Star Trek game and The Darkness, has unveiled a new game and it’s called Warframe. What is it? A Sci-Fi third person shooter MMO. The Tenno wield the power of the “Warframes”, strong weapons that the Grineer don’t want around… or do, for themselves.
You play as one if the remaining Tenno and are tasked with fighting the Grineer back. The fiction right now probably won’t interest you until you see a trailer so here you are:
Strikes me as Mass Effect 3 combat with MGS Revengence, sounds good to me. This is an MMO, so you can expect a beta coming sometime this Fall with the release being slated for Winter 2012. Check out more details HERE.
