Dead Space Studio Expanding in Preperation for “Online Action Shooter”

EA put a job listing out recently saying that the Dead Space studio is seeking a Lead Multiplayer Designer for a new project that will become a “cornerstone for a new EA Games studio.” This excites me, and probably a lot of other Dead Space lovers. Previously Visceral had said that they were going places “no other IP has gone before,” which is crazy enough but with this new job listing, it says that “architectural knowledge and experience making realistic world levels.” which blows my god damn mind.

Whatever their cooking up over there, I’m excited and it’d be amazing if Dead Space 3 came to a urban enviroment. It’d be even better if Visceral focused on Multiplayer a bit more seeing as how the Dead Space 2 multiplayer was pretty great, so further expanding on that would be awesome.
