Dead Space 3 tops UK video game chart

It may not come as much of a shock to see this weeks biggest release, EA’s Dead Space 3, come top of the UK video game chart. While it has come in for some very mixed reviews, it only has a 78 critic score on Metacritic,  it would appear that the game had a large enough fan base to dominate UK sales regardless. Although Dead Space 3 topped the charts it’s 2011 predecessor, Dead Space 2, managed to sell 26.6% more than EA’s action horror game.

EA Sports title, FIFA 13 takes second place this month with Call of Duty: Black Ops II rounding out the top 3. Interestingly Namco Bandai’s JRPG, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, dropped from top spot to 6th this week, although there has been widespread stock issues.
