DC Heroes and Villians Clash in Injustice: Gods Among Us

NetherRealm, the studio that brought you Mortal Kombat is continuing their fighting game prowess in a new universe. The latest Mortal Kombat went back to the basics of the series, incorporating new technology and a stellar single player story to make it the king fighting game of last year.

I’m sure NetherRealm needed a break from the franchise, so why not make a new one? They are and it’s Injustice: Gods Among Us.

If you can picture a Mortal Kombat game replacing the fighters of that universe with DC heroes such as Batman, Flash, Superman, and villains like Harley Quinn, that’s probably what it is, more or less. That’s quite alright with me though. If they can pull off another product like Mortal Kombat with DC characters, count me in. Take a look at the trailer below to see for yourself.

The premise seems to be that things have gone wrong in the world and the heroes the world once knew are now the villains. Sounds good to me. We can expect more news out of this title at E3 presumably, so keep an eye on Velocity Gamer for more news.

Also, Wonder Woman!
