Rumour: Could Monster Hunter Tri G Be Wading Its Way Over To The West?

As we all know, Capcom has yet to deliver an official statement on whether or not Monster Hunter Tri G will be making its way over to Europe or North America, especially seeing the mass of fans that have accumulated in both regions. It seems though, that things may be looking bright for Europe, as in a recent review by popular Nintendo magazine, Nintendo Gamer, it has been hinted that the gamers on that side of the pond may be seeing a little Monster Hunter action on their 3DS’s later this year. There is currently no word on a specified release date though.

Here’s an extract of what was read from that particular review:

“Tri G is a great reworking of what was already a wonderful game, and probably has more content than any other 3DS title available – so it’s just a pity we won’t get to play it until later this year. What is this, the ’90s?

Tri G has everything that makes Monster Hunter great, but in the absence of online it’s probably better to wait until a bit later in the year for the European release.

I, personally, am head over heels ecstatic with this bit of news, as I have been wanting to try out the Monster Hunter series for a good while now. Many fellow gamers of mine have said they’ve been having a blast playing the game on their Wiis, and so are also eagerly waiting to see if the 3DS installment will cross over, hopefully with online play bashed in. I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see…
