Call of Duty ELITE February Update

Published On February 23, 2012 | By Matthew Pettit | Uncategorized

Activision’s Call of Duty ELITE, the back bone of Call of Duty from here on out, just got a substantial update.  Along with some bug fixes on the PC and console apps, ELITE put out the 3rd content drop on Tuesday for Xbox LIVE premium members along with Clan Operations.  The 3rd content drop is a multiplayer map by the name of Overwatch.  This map caters to just about every play style, staying away from the smaller maps included on the disc. You’ll be fighting on top of a New York skyscraper overlooking the battle below, fighting your way through two levels of a frag-tastic frenzy.

The biggest update to the service itself is the long awaited Clan Operations.  Clan Operations will allow your ELITE clan to level up, unlocking clan titles and the ability to make a clan emblem.  Teased at first, Operations are finally here giving premium members more reason to form a clan to win some swag!  Beachhead Studios, the minds behind ELITE, put out a neat little video showing how exactly the operations will work.

The next ELITE drops will be next month with a total of 3 drops.  Until then, enlist in some Clan Operations and play those new maps before non-premium members get to buy them next month.
