We certainly think so. David Vonderhaar, Multiplayer head over at Treyarch, posted an image on his Facebook page that would lead you to believe such. Why would we think it’s a trailer, let alone a Multiplayer trailer? Let’s look at the image:
Looks like the start of any video game trailer, no?
You’ll notice that the pic is of a video player with a video about to start with 2:36 on the clock; about the length of most trailers. The main assumption is Multiplayer since David Vonderhaar is posting it. Being a Multiplayer designer, this would make sense coming from him. Vonderhaar does work for Treyarch, though, so it doesn’t mean that necessarily I suppose since it could just be another game play trailer.
We’ve seen Strike Force, campaign, weapons, vehicles, and a villain so far but we haven’t seen anything yet on Zombies or Multiplayer, so it makes sense that this could be the reveal for one of the two. I’m leaning more towards a Multiplayer reveal solely because Treyarch does a good job of keeping Zombie mode stuff under wraps up until launch.

You already said he is the head of multiplayer, and obviously a multiplayer reveal is coming. It obviously isn't zombies, so why even mention the debate? What a poorly written article. I understand you are trying to squeeze out an article for a small snippet of information, but really…
Just because Vonderhaar happens to be Head of Multiplayer doesn’t necessarily mean we should assume it’s a multiplayer trailer – he is essentially part of the main team working on Black Ops II, so it could be anything, including Zombies. Multiplayer is only the most likely choice – don’t conclude things based on assumptions.
Besides, Matt obviously mentioned this in the article for the sake of those that might not be aware of the debate regarding this going on around the web – I, for one, was not aware of this, and I wouldn’t jump to any conclusions whatsoever.
Don’t baselessly criticise the writings of our staff here when you have no concluding evidence yourself – Matt was clearly trying to be as informative as he possibly can. Regardless, I see nothing here that deems this article “poorly written”. If you think it’s so bad and have nothing mature and respectful here to say at all, I suggest you go attempt to write something better in your own eyes to please yourself, and refrain from commenting in future.
wait guys! dont think it might be a multiplayer trailer just yet! now dont forget zombies will be using the MULTIPLAYER engine too so it could be both! i would say that the trailer will 100% be a multiplayer but with a zombies leak at the end probably the last 10 seconds! And i know that you know i am right!
