Battlefield 3 Premium Service Coming to PC and Consoles

Battlefield and Call of Duty have been butting heads for years, more so with the release of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3. I said in a recent editorial the the series are becoming more and more alike one another and even more so with this new announcement from EA.

The Call of Duty ELITE service lets paying subscribers in on DLC early, clan operations, and premium video content among other things. The Battlefield premium service aims to capitalize on that same model. With a subscription, you’ll get the following:

• Early access to DLC, 2 weeks prior
• Resetting stats
• Double XP
• Unique in-game goodies
• Priority in Server queues
