Our Story

Velocity Gamer, formerly TitanReviews, is a website created for, and by, gamers. We aim to provide news, previews, reviews, media, and editorial commentary that is grounded, accurate, and un-biased. We are dedicated to being a reliable source of both information and honest reviews in a growing industry that is still striving for legitimacy.

TitanReviews was started back in November 2010 by Nick Calandra. The site began as a small reviewing site, but later Nick wanted to expand to gaming news and take the site a step further. He recruited his first writer David Nelson, who has been a great help to the site and it’s overall growth. David Mason later joined the crew and has been contributing great reviews and news each and every day.  After just a few months, we’ve grown into what is now Velocity Gamer.  As of now, we have thirteen exceptional writers working for us, each bringing a unique skill-set to the table.

Velocity Gamer values informed opinions, level-headed discussions, and thought provoking topics pertaining to video games and the industry they belong to. Our mission is to be an oasis of game-related material that addresses a typically sensationalized form of entertainment with an eye toward realism.

To promote a solid community, we also like to reward out members with giveaways whenever we are able.  Though we pledge to be unswayed by any perks or “suggestions” from corporate entities, we remain open to any and all reasonable feedback from members of the community.

We don’t just review games, we review the entire goings-on in gaming and the gamer lifestyle itself. If it’s important and video game related, we promise to have it covered at all times.
