5 minutes of Assassin’s Creed 3 footage set in Boston

Coming fresh today, we have a guided demo of Assassin’s Creed 3′s Boston area and gameplay.

Creative Director Alexander Hutchinson shows off various ways of randomly murdering random (but surely villainous and dastardly) soldiers. The multi-enemy combat still looks slick as ever, and the contextual combat points excite some reptilian part of my brain. Who doesn’t want to impale someone with a bayonet and shoot the guy he was chatting with?

Boston looks absolutely gorgeous from what we can see, though, and the free-running aspect that we’ve come to love seems to have made the transition to the Colonies well. Anyone excited?
