250 GB Hard Drive Now Included In Console Subscriptions

If you’re in the market for a console, specifically an Xbox 360 then perhaps Microsoft might have a deal for you. Microsoft has apparently seen enough success with its subscription-based Xbox 360 console sales to up the ante with two new product offerings (via Polygon). The original $99 deal, which gives you a 4GB Xbox 360 console and Kinect for a two-year Xbox Live Gold commitment at $14.99 per month, is now joined by two other options.

A new $99 offer ditches the Kinect in favor of a 250GB hard drive, a package that is presumably aimed at the so-called “core” gamer audience. Those who want both the Kinect AND the 250GB can pay the higher up-front cost of $149. Both of the new offers require the same two-year, $14.99 per month commitment.
