007 Legends Pre-Order Bonuses Detailed

The latest James Bond video game 007 Legends, launches on October 16th of this year from Activision. During a morning press release today, Activision has given us a look at the pre-order goodies and what you can expect to receive for pre-ordering your copy. All of the pre-order deals in North America are exclusive to Amazon, GameStop (EB Games if in Canada) and offer both swag for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers.

If you pre-order on Amazon, it will include a free Nemesis Pack, which gives players access to famous Bond villains such as Jaws, wearing his Moonraker spacesuit, and Baron Samedi, the voodoo-practicing henchman from Live and Let Die. Both characters will be available for play in both the Legends and adversarial multiplayer split-screen modes.

Pre-order at GameStop (EB Games) and you’ll receive the 007 Pack. This DLC includes an exclusive James Bond character outfit and use of the Walther PPK, the handgun that the movie Bond is famously known for using. The 007 Pack also unlocks early access to the Fast Switch gadget, which speeds up weapon switching by 50 percent. This content applies specifically to the split-screen multiplayer mode, according to the press release.

Activision is looking to repeat the success of 2011′s freshly updated GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, a remake of the Wii update of the Nintendo 64 classic. In 007 Legends, players will run through a series of missions framed against the plotlines of some of the most-loved Bond movies of all time, including Moonraker and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (aka The Best Bond!). A sixth mission based on the upcoming movie Skyfall will also be available as post-release DLC.
